The address for MAISON D'MEMOIREB & B COTTAGES is 8450 Roberts Cove RoadRayne, LA 70578. From I-10 westbound exit number 87. You will exit on the side of a McDonalds, veer to the right side. If you are coming from the eastbound I-10, also take exit number 87 and go left under the underpass. From that point you should see a Chevron Gas Station and a Burger King. Possible Lead on JAMES BUXTON!
We have the FBI out looking for James. We have been looking for 40 years and figured it was time to call in the Big Dogs! Just Kidding! After paying one of those people find websites Linda A. and I found a James Buxton who had the same birthdate as our James Buxton(Beth got us this information). We figured odds are it has to be him. So now we have the Rayne Police investigating.
We will keep you posted!
Class pictures are at the bottom of the blog
When I decided to scan in the class pictures
I didnt realize what a job I was in for!
Sorry if your picture is crooked.
It's hard to put a yearbook in a scanner
and get it straight.
Some pictures are bigger than others
depending on how many I could
get into a picture.
News from Donna Sonnier Blank
Laura talked to Donna yesterday:
I talked to Donna Sonnier Blank today.
She's still down in Houston.
I recently mailed her some pictures of her that were in my old scrapbook.
We had a good visit.
We had a good visit.
She said that she was unable to come to the reunion because her
husband, Rosco, had knee replacement surgery.
I told her that I would pass that info on to you.
Does anyone know this blog follower?
Someone told me it may be Linda Bustamante on the streets of New Orleans!
The Tequila Rose and Spam gave it away!
Want to be a blog follower sign up on the right hand side of the blog.
JoAnn John says:
I'd be surprised if it wasn't..There is such a resemblance.
I can't decide of it's the boa that gives it away or the can of Spam!!
Jennifer says:
It looks just like her!

Email from Diane Easterling
Where did you get all those rings?
When looking for Diane we noted that she had moved quite often.....this email explains it.
Hi Chris,
Good to hear from you. Yes I did get the reunion invitation but I will not be able to make it. I am living in Toledo, Ohio right now until next January, 2009. The job I am on will be ending then and I will be transferring to "who knows where" at that time. My employment with Fluor for 38 years has been from project to project in various states of the US.
I wanted to compliment you on the awesome job you have done with the blog website for Rayne High. I wasn't aware of it until Beth told me about it last month, but I will keep checking it. Keep up the great work!!
Diane

Larry Jay Menard reports on the music!
Now -- about the music!!!!
Our D.J. is being flown in from New Iberia, La.
You would think he is a Twin with our Chef, they look so much alike.
He plays a variety of music and really gets into the
1960's & 1970's music which I kind a like myself.
Heard him play a few times and I think he does a pretty good job.
(Especially for the price)
Larry Jay Menard reports on our menu!
